International Participation

By looking outward we can gain the global perspectives necessary to tackle today’s environmental issues.

Despite diplomatic challenges faced by Taiwan, we at EQPF are fully aware of the importance of cross-border environmental networks.

EQPF is a member of the observer delegations for the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), as well as the information center of Green Cross International.

We attend the conferences and follow the issues of UNFCCC, CBD and other treaties closely. We organize side events on the topics of health (such as Health Promoting Hospital), forest restoration & management (such as Sustainable Forest and Adaptation Education), and municipal water adaptation strategies (such as Sponge Taiwan).

Also, we have formed strong networks through international projects, such as Taiwan Green Ribbon - Let's Plant Trees in Kenya and the Voices of Future Generations book series.

Climate Law and Governance are our main research and practice areas, and we participate in Climate Law and Governance Day.

We look forward to building more friendships and partnerships around the world.
